Terms of Use

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of the comic viewer app SSUK View (슥뷰) and related services (the “Service”) provided by Sinabro Lab Co., Ltd. (“we”).

2. The Service

  1. The Service is a viewer that opens comic files you own (ZIP/CBZ archives, PDFs and image folders) and files in cloud storage you connect (Google Drive, Dropbox).
  2. We do not sell or provide comic content; what you read is what you bring. Only the sample books bundled with the app are provided by us.
  3. If you sign in, your shelf and reading position sync across your devices.

3. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms within the limits of applicable law, announcing changes at least 7 days in advance (30 days for changes unfavorable to you). If you do not agree, you may stop using the Service and delete your account.

4. Your account

  1. You can sign up with email, Google or Apple. You must be at least 14 years old to create an account.
  2. Keep your credentials safe; accounts may not be transferred or lent.
  3. You can delete your account at any time from My Account → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. A Remove Ads purchase stays with your App Store or Google Play account and can be restored after deletion.

5. Your responsibilities

  1. Only open files you lawfully own or have the right to use. You are responsible for any files that infringe copyright or other rights.
  2. Do not reverse engineer or tamper with the Service, overload our servers, or try to access other users’ data.

6. Paid feature: Remove Ads

  1. Remove Ads is a one-time (non-consumable) in-app purchase that removes ads from the phone and tablet apps. It costs ₩4,900; the price shown in the app and the store applies. It does not renew and is not a subscription.
  2. Payment is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, and the purchase is tied to that store account.
  3. On another device with the same store account, use My Account → Remove Ads → Restore purchase to apply it again at no extra cost.
  4. Refunds follow the store’s refund policy and applicable consumer protection law. Request Apple refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com and Google Play refunds through Google Play.
  5. The Mac app is free. Donations are voluntary, are not a condition of use, and unlock no extra features.

7. Ads

Free phone and tablet users may see ads, shown as banners on the shelf and import screens and as full-screen ads only at natural breaks such as opening or finishing a book — never while reading. Users who bought Remove Ads see no ads.

8. Changes to the Service

We may change or discontinue parts of the Service for operational or technical reasons and will announce significant changes in advance. If sync servers stop, books stored on your device and reading features continue to work.

9. Limitation of liability

  1. We are not liable for losses caused by events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, failures of your device or network, or outages of cloud storage providers.
  2. We are not responsible for the content or legality of files you open with the Service.
  3. Nothing here limits liability for our intentional misconduct or gross negligence under applicable law.

10. Privacy

We protect your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes are resolved by the court with jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act. This does not affect mandatory consumer rights you have in your country of residence.
