SSUK ViewPrivacy Policy
Sinabro Lab Co., Ltd. (“we”) operates the comic viewer app SSUK View (슥뷰) (the “Service”). This policy explains what information the Service processes, why, how long we keep it, and the rights you have. We comply with the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea and other applicable laws.
- Every reading feature works without an account; without one, no personal information is sent to our servers.
- Your comic files (images and archives) are never uploaded to or stored on our servers.
- If you sign in, we store your email, nickname and shelf data (book titles, pages read, etc.) to sync across devices.
- You can delete your account in the app at any time; your account and synced data are deleted immediately.

We do not collect: your comic files or their contents; photos, contacts or location; cloud sign-in tokens (Google Drive and Dropbox connections are stored only in your device’s secure storage, such as the Keychain, and never sent to us). The Service contains no behavioral analytics or tracking tools.
2. Why we process it
- Identifying you, signing you in, managing your account and preventing abuse
- Syncing your shelf, reading position and settings between devices
- Checking the Remove Ads purchase and removing ads
- Showing ads to free users to fund the Service
- Answering support requests and sending notices
3. Retention
Account and sync data are deleted without delay when you delete your account. Deleting your account from My Account → Delete account removes every sync record linked to it (cascading deletion in the database), and for Apple sign-in we also ask Apple to revoke the tokens issued to us. Support emails are kept for one year after they are resolved. Where a law requires us to keep information longer, we store it separately for that period only (purchase records are kept by Apple and Google as the app store operators).
If you use the app without signing in, your shelf and reading history stay on your device only and are removed when you delete the app.
4. Sharing with third parties
We do not provide your personal information to third parties, except where required by law or requested by authorities under legal procedures.
5. Processors and international transfers
We use the following processors to run the Service; some process data outside Korea. Transfers happen over the network while you use the Service.

Google Drive and Dropbox, when you connect them, talk directly to your device; the data does not pass through our servers. Their own privacy policies apply.
If you do not want your data transferred abroad, you can use the app without signing in or delete your account; sync between devices will then be unavailable.
6. Google user data (Google Drive)
When you connect Google Drive, SSUK View uses the drive.readonly scope to read the file list of folders you choose and the comic files in them. Files are used only to display them on your device, and are kept only in a temporary on-device cache (up to 500 MB, oldest removed first) or in device storage when you choose “Save offline”. We never send the files to our servers, share them with anyone, or use them for advertising or AI training. With sync on, we store only the file ID, name, size and folder name so you can reopen the same book on another device.
SSUK View’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
7. How we delete data
Personal information is destroyed without delay once its retention period ends or its purpose is fulfilled. Electronic records are deleted so that they cannot be recovered.
8. Your rights
- In My Account you can view your nickname, change your password (email accounts), sign out and delete your account.
- You can ask us by email (admin@sinabrolab.com) to access, correct, delete or stop processing your data. We act without delay (within 10 days) and tell you the result.
- If you cannot use the app, see how to request account deletion.
- On phones and tablets you can change ad consent from “Ad privacy settings” at the bottom of My Account, or in your device settings.
9. Children
Children under 14 may not create an account; if we learn that one has, we delete it. Features used without an account collect no personal information.
10. Security
- All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS (TLS).
- Passwords are stored with one-way hashing.
- Row-level security in the database restricts each user to their own data.
- Cloud connection tokens stay in your device’s secure storage.
- Access to personal information is limited to the minimum number of staff.
11. Cookies and identifiers
The app uses no cookies. In the phone and tablet apps that show ads, Google AdMob may use your advertising ID, which you can reset or limit in your device settings. This website uses no cookies or visitor analytics.

We will announce changes on this page and in the app at least 7 days before they take effect (30 days for changes that are unfavorable to you).
